Since 1805 The New England Society in the City of New York has had a long-standing tradition of inducting distinguished men and women of strong moral character. All members of NES are encouraged to uphold the Society's values and traditions by conducting themselves honorably both in their personal and professional lives.
Members are also encouraged to maintain a high standard of personal integrity and respect at the Society's events, including the adherence to appropriate codes of dress and behavior. The New England Society in the City of New York is one of the oldest and finest societies in the United States, therefore all members who represent it are encouraged to maintain its reputation and lead by example.
